Eldon Square's Festival kicks off with popular free food festival Cook Eat & Enjoy, in Chevy Chase, near Boots and John Lewis from 13th until 16th February.

Eldon Square's kitchen will be heating up as Top Chefs will be cooking up a storm and creating some fine cuisine to tempt your taste buds!

Here are SOME of the fantastic events that we have in store for you:

Saturday 13th February - Sizzling Saturday!

10am - The Bigger Breakfast
Popular chefs from John Lewis will be serving up The Bigger Breakfast, so don't miss out on the most important meal of the day!

12pm - Northside Diner
Prepare to step back in time with Fenwick Head Chef Adbul Mahdoul as he whips up some classic dishes from the American 1950's style diner.

2pm - Festival Special
John Lewis Head Chef Colin Bell cooks up Baked Supreme of North Sea Coley served with braised yellow peas & roasted black pudding. Delicious


4pm - Kung Hey Fat Choi!
It's Chinese New Year, celebrating the Year of the Tiger! Come and watch cookery expert Helen Porter whip up a succulent Chinese dish, which you can easily make at home!

Sunday 14th February - Love is in the Square!

11am - ITV Tyne Tees Pam Royle
Love is in the air at Eldon Square as popular TV presenter  Pam Royle sets to work by cooking her favourite Valentines Meal for Two! Poached smoked haddock on a bed of crisp green beans topped with soft poached egg and home made hollandaise sauce!

1pm - John Lewis Pukka Puff Pastry Class
For everyone who has a sweet tooth then John Lewis kitchen will make your mouth water with some sticky treats including home baked cupcakes, muffins and scones mmmmm!

2pm - Marble Slab Creamery
Hankering for some more sweet treats? Marble Slab Creamery freshly-made gourmet ice-cream piled high with a selection of ‘mixins' which will definitely hit the spot!


Monday 15th February

11am - Half Term Fun with Fenwick!
Master confectioner Alan Harle invites children to decorate biscuits, hang them on the cookie tree in the Terrace Restaurant and receive a free mini- smoothies and cupcake.

12.00pm - Come Dine with Us!
Come and enjoy the culinary delights of Metro Radio DJ Wayne Allen, whose delicious menu won him 1st place on Channel 4's Come Dine with Me series.

4pm - Nando's Wrestle- a- Wrap!
Feeling a little bit peckish? So why not watch Nando's make a spicy and tasty wrap.


Tuesday 16th February - Launch Day!

11am - Celebratory Breakfast
Get in the mood to celebrate for the opening of St Andrew's Way as John Lewis Head Chef Colin Bell prepares a bucks fizz breakfast.

12pm - Festival Special
John Lewis Head Chef Colin Bell cooks up Baked Supreme of North Sea Coley served with braised yellow peas & roasted black pudding. Delicious.

2pm - Passionate about Pancakes
David Hall and cookery expert Helen Porter create perfect pancakes inspired by Tesco Metro Recipe cards.

There will be succulent samples available during Cook, Eat & Enjoy including: Auntie Anne's, Debenhams, Esquire's Coffee, Fenwick, Millie's Cookies, O'Briens, Starters & Puds, Strada and Waitrose.
