Transforming Eldon Square

Eldon Square South is the third and largest development phase and has provided a new 410,000 sq ft mall anchored by a flagship Debenhams with provision for over 20 large stores offering flexible retailing space and including the likes of Apple, Guess, Superdry and Hollister.
Opened in spring 2010 St Andrew's Way seamlessly links into the existing Shopping Centre and provides easy access to the city centre via Clayton Street and Newgate Street.
Developments are continuing throughout Eldon Square with new flooring being laid from Blackett Bridge to the Eldon Way Entrance on Northumberland Street. Work on the new tiling began 12th April 2010 and will complete in late September 2010. The work will take place overnight to minimise the impact and disruption for shoppers and will compliment the modernisation work which has already been completed.
